Background

Women Entrepreneurs of Cornwall and Area, or WE, was formed in 1998 by a small group of women who knew that women business owners needed to connect with one another. Within a half a year, the group had grown from 12 to 80 members, and now numbers over 90. WE's mandate is to provide a forum in which all women in Cornwall and the surrounding Area may benefit from opportunities to network, increase knowledge, and share ideas.

Meetings

WE holds dinner meetings on the 4th Thursday of every month at the Ramada Inn in Cornwall from 6 - 9:30 p.m. Meals are $21.00 for members and $23.00 for non-members. There are introductions, an educational speaker, profiles of businesses, and a time for sharing good news and asking for help.

Benefits

WE welcomes business owners, employees, students, those who are thinking of starting a business, and retired people who like to stay connected. Guests are always welcome. The annual fee of $50 per year provides you as a member with an assortment of benefits, including:

1. A listing on this website along with the ability to edit your own listing as you require;
2. Events posted to the website free of charge for all members;
3. Members ability to offer and receive discounts to and other members;
4. Members' ability to profile their business;
5. A $2 discount on meals.
